How to Donate

Donating to North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity

North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This means that we run largely on generous donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Your donation changes the lives of those in need of simple, decent, and affordable housing. All donations are tax-deductible, and we will provide you with a receipt. We respect the privacy of our donors. We do not share or provide your name or donation information with any other organization, except what is required by law.

Ways to donate

MONETARY DONATIONS

The most common donation is monetary donations. In 2022, 90 cents of every dollar spent went toward our homebuilding program! If you wish to donate via mail, please send it to:

MEMORIAL AND HONORARY GIFTS

We also welcome donations that recognize someone to whom Habitat was important and/or someone who was important to you. If you are making an online tribute gift, indicate the honoree’s name in the comment section of our donation form, and if you wish to have an acknowledgement card sent to someone, be sure to list their name and address.

 


OTHER WAYS TO DONATE

Some other items you can donate are land, homes, professional services, and your time. If you wish to make an in-kind donation or if you have any questions, call the office at 218-749-8910 or email us at habitat@nslchfh.org.

PLANNED GIVING
Anybody can make planned giving part of their donation to Habitat, no matter the person’s stage in life. You will know your gift will support, in perpetuity, simple, decent, and affordable homes on the Iron Range.

Ways to give:

  • A bequest in your will or trust
  • Real estate (land or a house)
  • Retirement assets
  • Bank account funds
  • Life insurance policy
  • Investment assets


You may also choose to give to our endowment fund.
