Mini Blitz day on August 4th was a great success! Thanks to the all the volunteers who have sheetrocked the walls, put insulation around the perimeter, formed the sidewalk, and worked on landscaping. We also want to thank Jay Anderson from MAC Drywall and Mudding who volunteered to professionally finish the walls. Since then volunteers, including two groups from OhNo 18, have primed and painted the entire interior. Family and friends of the Otto’s worked efficiently one weekend to put down tile flooring. “We want to thank all the wonderful people and businesses who have given their time and resources to build with Habitat for Humanity, for giving us the opportunity to own our own home. From the Olympic Framers who in just one day framed the entire house and installed windows, siding, doors and shingles to all the volunteers who have worked so faithfully all fall to finish, it has been such a good experience to work with everyone. We feel blessed to have gotten to know so many people from our community through their help at the build site. Thank you!” – Kathy, Joe, and Annabelle We are grateful for all the volunteers and donors who have made this homeownership dream a reality for Kathy, Joe, and Annabelle. Thank you for partnering with the Otto family and North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity in building homes…building hope…together!   Back
