We are partnered with Teelyn to build a simple, decent and affordable home in Buhl.
Teelyn said this about her build, “I am excited and anxious. I am also very excited to see all the steps come into place and be included on each step of the process to building my home. I can’t wait to learn practical skills on how so that in the future I will know how to make repairs. One thing in particular I want to learn is drywall, but I know I will be excited to learn anything and everything. I am extremely grateful and blessed that people have graciously donated their time, skills, and make donations so that I may have a home from my son Isaiah and me. I am also excited to get a few teams of volunteers together from my work and church to have building days.”
Teelyn purchased her home on 09/08/2023 with a loan secured by the USDA Rural Development program and with funding provided by Habitat Minnesota.
