The ground breaking for Amy and Thor England-Thompson’s new home was held on July 27, 2014. Their home is being built in Virginia, MN.

Amy and Thor’s new home is sponsored by Thrivent Builds, Wells Fargo Foundation and US Bank with funding and volunteer help. With the help of dedicated volunteers, their new home is now complete. The home dedication for Amy and Thor’s new home was held on December 19, 2014.

“We are excited to have the chance to own our home.  We tried many times to qualify for a home loan and kept receiving the same discouraging answer, ‘NO!’ Then we found out about the Habitat program and finally received a ‘YES!’  At last there was someone who was interested in helping us get into an adequate home.
