Meet Kaylen and Greyson Anderson.
On Saturday, June 20, 2015, over 40 members of the Ely community and Habitat supporters came together to work on the home in a Blitz Build. Even in the pouring rain and mud we were able to accomplish a lot. After that auspicious start, the community of Ely really came together to build this house with Kaylen. Special thanks go to Voyageur’s Outward Bound School, which provided us 12+ work days, to our wonderful site managers Paul Town and Greg Eisenhuth, to our stalwart core of volunteers, Bob Carlson, Larry Smith and Tony Serena, many organizations, businesses and clubs by the donation of their time and talents, and the support of Sir G’s, Subway, First Presbyterian, Grace Lutheran, Ledgerock and many others for their support of lunches for our workers!
